The African Union Youth Development and Engagement Division has put in place the AU Continental Volunteer Linkage Platform (CVLP) to coordinate and harmonize the efforts of promoting volunteerism in the AU member states and provide country acceleration support. In consideration of the above, the AU CVLP needs to undertake a training needs assessment to identify which trainings are highly in demand, and what skill gaps shall be addressed and thereby develop training materials and deliver mainly through virtual means to build the capacity of member states and Volunteer Linkage Platform (VLP) registered organizations, which is the knowledge and information hub meant to generate evidence, information sharing, and one-stop linking mechanism between volunteers and volunteer involving organizations.
