The Citizen Engagement Platform (CEP) follows the AUDA-NEPAD Personal Data Protection Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), as outlined in the African Union Convention on Cyber Security and Personal Data Protection. Personal data is collected only when necessary to provide specific services such as consultations, feedback forms, or event registrations. Each service on the platform has a designated data controller who ensures adherence to these protocols, guided by AUDA-NEPAD’s Data Protection Officer (DPO). All data handling is conducted transparently and securely. Users are always informed when and how their data is utilized.
